Catholic Epistles — seven epistles of the apostles: one by James, two by Peter, three by John the Theologian, and one by Jude, called “catholic” (or “general”) because they were written and sent to all the Churches, unlike the Epistles of the Apostle Paul, each of which was addressed to one particular Church.
They were written in Greek.
They are contained in the New Testament.
