Beloved in the Lord brothers and sisters!

I am Priest Ioann, and with me is the team of site administrators.

We warmly welcome you, seekers of Christ's light amid this noisy and turbulent age. It is no coincidence that you opened these pages — it means your soul thirsts for a word that is quiet yet powerful, a word of life, a word of truth.

Our earthly path is swift and full of temptations, but each day the Lord gives us the opportunity to draw closer to Him, if only our heart heeds Him. And for this we need to turn more often to edifying reading — the writings of the Holy Fathers, the lives of God's saints, the works of the Holy Spirit, which have been preserved in the Church for our instruction and strengthening.

May this corner of Orthodox teaching be a quiet haven for you, where you can rest from worldly vanity, strengthen yourself with prayer and judicious words, and go forth with renewed strength on the path of salvation. Do not rush in reading; delve into it, reflect, pray — and then the word read with attention and humility will bear fruit a hundredfold.

May everyone who enters here find not only knowledge but also consolation, not merely information but spiritual strengthening.

I pray to God that He may strengthen you in your good endeavors, preserve you from all evil, and guide you on the path of peace and salvation.
