A collection of musical settings for the Great Penitential Canon of Saint Andrew of Crete. This selection includes the Irmoi arranged after Dmitry Bortniansky and various settings for the Kontakion «My soul, my soul, arise!», including traditional Kiev Caves and Obikhod chants. These arrangements, adapted for English-speaking choirs, preserve the solemn and repentant atmosphere essential for the Lenten services.
